We've seen rumours on social media about Arctic Monkeys planning a massive homecoming UK tour. Most likely Arctic Monkeys will play some shows in their native Sheffield in 2018.
The band is expected to reveal details of their sixth album any day soon. Last year the band has announced a huge run of world tour dates throughout 2018. To date, their only confirmed UK show is headlining Glasgow’s TRNSMT Festival.
Now, after the band reportedly turned down the chance to headline Sheffield’s renowned Tramlines Festival, rumours are now circulating that they could play huge shows at Hillsborough Park in September. A notice has appeared in Sheffield, stating that SJM Concerts are planning an event at Hillsborough this September, providing live music and the sale of alcohol for up to four days. Fans are now speculating that this could be to stage local heroes Arctic Monkeys’ hometown return.
After a total of 16 shows in the UK for their previous tour, it’s very likely that the band will be seeking to replicate their home coming success this time around. We will inform you about about the UK concert dates, here:
