Jess Glynne facts

Jess Glynne was born on October 20, 1989 in London. The British pop singer and songwriter is the first female British solo artist to feature seven number one hits on the UK charts. The singer became especially well-known with her hit "Rather Be", which she recorded together with Clean Bandit and for which she was awarded a Grammy.
Through her mother, who worked at Atlantic Records, Jess Glynne early came into contact with the music business. After school, she made the crucial contacts in the music industry and signed a record deal at Atlantic Records in 2013.
Her debut single "Rather Be", with the British electro-pop band Clean Bandit, stayed in first place in the British charts for four weeks and was the most-streamed song of the year. Also in Germany and Austria, the song reached the top of the charts. In 2015, Jess Glynne received a Grammy Award for the song in the category Best Dance Recording of the Year.
Glynne's second release, the song "My Love" with DJ Route 94, also ranked number one in the UK. After her next release "Right Here" only reached number six on the UK charts, Jess Glynne reunited with Clean Bandit and released the single "Real Love", which promptly reached second place in the UK and Germany.
With "Hold My Hand" Jess Glynne made it to the first place without the help of other artists for the first time in March 2015. Three months later, she teamed up with rapper Tinie Tempah and again conquered the top of the charts with the song "Not Letting Go". With "Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself", the singer landed her fifth number-one hit in the UK.
Following her Take Me Home Tour 2016 through the UK, Glynne announced a break from any releases for some time.
In 2018 fans were happy about Jess Glynne's comeback. On the single "These Days" by Rudimental, she can be heard as a singer alongside Macklemore and Dan Caplen. This song, after it had pushed Drake's "God's Plan" from the top, also became a number one hit.
In April 2018, Jess Glynne deleted her Instagram posts, giving fans reason to speculate about new, big projects. Her latest song "I'll Be There" is Jess Glynne's seventh number one hit.
In 2018, fans can experience the exceptional talent live on her Always In Between Tour.
