East Princes Street Gardens

Starting with the biggest of them – the East Princes Street Market is the perfect spot to do some last Christmas shopping before Christmas-Eve is coming. Next to the Edinburgh Castle and the Scott Monument, you can find this huge market. Because of it´s perfect location, it is easy to reach by Tram. Also known as the “German Christmas Market” it has some Scottish souvenirs as well. If you want to taste some good whiskey, you will definitely find one right here.

Get ready to visit some cool stalls and get some good food and drinks. If you want to visit with your family, the Santa Land and the Christmas Wheel will be a special highlight for you. Open from November till January you have enough time to take a walk through the bright stalls and to enjoy the Christmas Time.

Hopetoun House Christmas Shopping Fair

Located in the outskirt of Edingburgh, this Christmas market is definitely a highlight. Surrounded by nature and bright lights, this Market is like a winter wonderland. With over 60 stalls, you will find the perfect gifts for your loved ones at home. You will find the Market at Hopetoun house, South Queensferry. Even though the Fair is open just a few days, the trip is totally worth it. You can visit the winter wonderland between Friday 29th November 2019 and Sunday 1st December 2019.

Jupiter Artland’s Christmas Fair

For those who never heard about the Jupiter Artsland – it is a beautiful sculpture garden which turns with it´s indoor galleries into a magic Christmas spot. Homemade mulled wine, delicious food and many gifts and crafts can be found in one of the many stalls. Even for families it is the perfect place to enjoy the weekend. You can find a workshop, where the kids can take a look how the elves work. Even a Christmas tree yard will take place at the Jupiter Artsland Flair. You can visit the Christmas market from Friday 29th November 2019 to Sunday 1st December 2019.

Summerhall Christmas Market

For those who are looking for a good alternative and a place, where you can find some special gifts, the Summerhall Christmas Market is a good option. You can find many handcrafted products, vegan food and vintage stalls. Open on 8th December it is a special highlight in Edinburgh and a “Must Do” in town. It’s a cool and colourful Market in the middle of the town.
