Liverpool is still one of the new cities that offers Christmas markets in Europe. Only a few years ago, Liverpool started the Christmas business and has now some beautiful and unique markets for everyone. We will tell you why you have to visit them and which highlights you will find.

If you visit Liverpool at Christmas time you will see some spectacular markets full of lights, lovely handcrafted decorations and delicious food. All inspired by German and especially Scandinavian designs. Be prepared to see a famous Ice Festival in town and a huge Christmas Tree at Paradise Street. Warm up in a cozy little hut and enjoy a traditional German Bratwurst at Pier Head.

Christmas Market in Liverpool

With more than 40 rustic stalls, the Christmas Market at St. George´s in the heart of the city is a must do for visitors. You can find delicious food and yummy drinks of four different continents. How about some “Bratwurst”, some Burgers or Crêpes? If you need some inspiration for Christmas gifts, you will be at the right place. Handcrafted gifts and gifts, which you can eat – sounds good? Prepare to visit the Christmas Market in Liverpool at St. George´s Plateau from 16. November 2019 to 23. December 2019!

Liverpool Christmas Ice Festival

As one of the biggest Ice Festivals in Liverpool, the Festival also offers a beautiful Christmas Market. You will find it at Pier Head in Liverpool. The Christmas Market opens it´s gates from 13. November 2019 to 5. January 2020 – enough time to drink some mulled wine, a hot chocolate and walk through the little alleys. A special highlight of the market is the huge Ice Rink, the 30 metres long Ice Slide and the Ice Jet Ride. If you want to warm up a bit, you can visit the Apres Lodge, which can fit up to 80 people.

Ready for some more highlights at the Ice Festival in Liverpool? Enjoy a traditional German „Bratwurst“ or treat yourself with a sweet Crêpe. Daily opens from 10:30am to 9:30pm you can enjoy the food and the spectacular attractions of the Market. If you drive by car, you can use the car parking spot near to the waterfront and Pier Head at Q-Park.

Bar Hütte and Liverpool ONE Christmas Tree

It is the fifth year, that the big Christmas Tree of Liverpool ONE brightens up the city centre. Enjoy some tasty cocktails and hot mulled wine at one of the little stalls. At Friday, the 15. November 2019, it is time to celebrate Christmas on Paradise Street with your friends and family. Grab a drink, warm up at the Scandinavian Bars and swing around to some good live music.

You want to have a special day just with your friends and family? You can book a private “Hütte” for 6 to 10 people. For about 1:45 hour you can warm up in a cozy hut with drinks and food.
