This year you will have the chance to experience the best museums in the UK like you never have before. “Museums at Night” takes place from 31 October 2019 until the 2 November 2019. Like every year it is produced by the non-profit publisher Culture24, an arts charity based in Brighton that aim to make Britain’s culture more accessible and popular to the people. The next UK festival in 2019 will take place everywhere but London. Museums, galleries and heritage sites will open their doors for impressive night-time events.

The festival has become so popular that it is now taking place twice a year – the first time at the same time as International Museum Day and the second time just around Halloween. Apart from the Museums at Night festival there are Lates events all year round the UK (and also in London) which you can also check out at the official festival website.
What makes the Museums at Night festival special though, are the beautiful light installations, the scenic music and the very informative tours and talks at the sites. In 2016 the events attracted 220,000 visits to 700 events in more than 500 venues across the UK.
Here you can search all events, museum, galleries and sites that will participate in 2019.

London, Brighton, Birmingham… there are so many beautiful cities and events to explore in the UK so you might want to stay up to date about upcoming events. Just subscribe to our Museum at Night Alert with one click here:
