A few days ago a Rammstein Belgium facebook post sparked excitement among fans of the German hard rock band. The post revealed that Rammstein is ready to prepare for a huge tour in 2019 - the tour will apparently take about three to four years. Rammstein’s guitarist Paul Landers announced in an interview with the Polish music magazine “Magazyn Gitarzysta” that they will mostly perform at major festivals next summer. Official dates and at which festivals they will play should be released at the end of October 2018. Shows outside the festivals are still in their planning stage.
There are already rumours about Rammstein playing shows at Hellfest Open Air in France and Lollapalooza Festival Berlin in 2019 which indicates that the band’s first tour leg might be a huge Europe Tour.
The German rock group has already finished recording their upcoming 7th studio album. As Paul Landers revealed in an interview with “Musicradar”, the album will be coming out next spring preceding the aforementioned Europe Tour. The album was recorded with all band members playing at the same time which gives it the atmosphere of a live performance. At the recordings the band was also supported by an orchestra and a choir as singer Till Lindemann implied in a facebook post.
Rammstein’s latest album “Liebe Ist Für Alle Da” was released in 2009, nearly a decade ago.
Concerns from fans about the upcoming album being Rammstein’s farewell album and rumours about them disbanding were denied categorically by the German mega stars.
Additionally to the band’s album, Richard Kruspe is already working on his solo album “Emigrate” which will come out on November 30, 2018.
Now there is nothing left for fans but to wait for the official release of all dates and venues.
