2020 North America tours and concerts cancelled or postponed due to corona virus

As the new corona virus continues to spread around the world, several countries have already cancelled major cultural events in order to prevent new cases of Covid-19. In this article we have listed all major concerts and tours in North America which have been cancelled or postponed due to the corona virus.

Since the outbreak of the new virus SARS-CoV-2 several countries, mainly in Asia and Europe, have restricted entries for travelers for the next weeks or months. This means, that some of our beloved artists are not able to perform their planned March / April shows in some countries. We have collected the most important ones in North America here:

Cancelled or postponed concerts in North America 2020:

Hip-Hop / R&B:

Mariah Careys show in Honolulu, Hawaii, will be postponed until November 2020.

The R&B singer Ciara who is currently pregnant, had to cancel her performance at the Texas Fort Hood USO on March 19. She announced that the event will be postponed instead. 

Rock / Pop:

Pearl Jam’s first North American leg of their Gigaton 2020 tour which should start this March had to be postponed. International dates starting in June will take place as planned as for now. The cancelled shows in Canada and the US will be rescheduled.

As already mentioned, Pentatonix’ world tour which should start in Europe and eventually lead the band to the USA will also be postponed. 

KISS will play all their concerts of their world tour as planned but will cancel all meet and greets in order to prevent an infection with the corona virus. Tickets for the meet and greet can be refunded.

Country:

Zac Brown Band postponed all spring shows of their The Owl tour. Rescheduled dates will be announced in the next time.
